In the latest copy of Perth Street Car mag there is an interesting article stating the IM240 test has been scrapped in WA. Only a 5 gas test is now required.
Sounds like a step in the right direction to me.
Is there any news on the cars mentioned earlier in this thread?

Your setup looks quite good. Were you put through the IM240 nonsense?

My primary objective is to pass this bloody test, and prior to seeing your setup, the (ex VE Commodore V8) cats were planned to sit beside the heads, giving the fastest warmup, and assisting with reducing emissions. Would look bloody awful, but there is not much point in having it parked in the garage.

I suspect noise will be an equal, if not greater, hurdle.

IM 240, at least in Vic, is a hot start test.

No I didn't have to go through that as my Boss 260 is / was the current motor from Ford and so it is already acceptable provided it is set up in the standard form.
