So did he commit the act because of quilt, because he got caught, or because he felt wrongly accused? As men, I don't think we have any real true understanding of what these women feel, or the reason they hide the accusations until safer ground is realized. It's arrogance or ignorance to assume we do. My wife was a victim of such, and it was 28 years later before she decided to tell her mom what her step-dad did. So for us to assume we know all the reasons that these stories are coming out now is bullshit.

This is no different than somebody that has never been in a firefight talking authoritatively about what it's like to actually be in one.

I agree with you Terry... We will never know the answer.
He may have done it more to save his family from having to endure an ongoing witch-hunt too...

Once AGIAN you've chosen to assume facts not in evidence and make baseless accusations stemming from them, Counselor.

I've never "catcalled" a woman in my life. Ever. I have complimented a trainload of them over my lifetime - and will continue to do so when warranted...but, you clearly haven't a C-L-U-E what the difference is between the two.

You already know the answer, so why ask the question?
No one is above the law.

In a perfect world, no one is above the law.

In a small town in the 70s/80s in Alabama, when the DA dates a 15 year old and tells her to be quiet about it? Completely different story.

that's why I asked the question. To see how naïve you are about this.

Was he guilty?
We’ll never know... But apparently the media and pitch-fork crowd made him so....
This is truly sad.
Kentucky State Rep. Dan Johnson commits suicide after sexual assault accusations emerge, officials say | Fox News

Sad, but no one made him jump off the bridge.

And again, why no concern from you about the 40-50% of sexual assaults against women that are not reported? That's MILLIONS a year.

Why the acute concern for the very small number of unfairly accused white males?

for me, both are problems. But only one is systemic.

On "innocent until proven guilty," I have to ask. Moore is innocent until proven guilty which means we should ignore his accusers and what they have to say until their allegations are tested and proven in court, right?

So, do Randy, Al and Larry consider Bill Clinton to be a sexual harasser/assaulter?

In what court of law was he proven guilty of the same?

Was Bill Clinton ever charged with a Sexual Assault crime or sued for Sexual Harassment?

Edit - I am not Moore’s judge. Neither are you. You can choose to believe all the news (fake and real - but who knows for sure) that you want...

Now - I bet you’re happy that the little boy’s father dropped the charges... How much did you have to pay him?

Hope the thread doesn’t go viral... (fake and used as example only)

Yes, Bill Clinton was sued for sexual harassment by Paula Jones. the claim was dismissed for lack of evidence at trial court level and settled on appeal.

So I'm asking you again, do you think Bill Clinton has engaged in sexually predatory behavior based on what has been reported in the news? I do now, and if I knew about it in 92 and 96 it is likely I would not have voted for him.

Ostriching on Roy Moore is sickening really.

Be duped by youtube videos and other internet nonsense -- the Lonesome Bob way!

LB is not duped, Jeff...he is just a troll who buzzes the forum now and then to see if he can stir things up, then retires to his easy chair to enjoy the carnage he creates.

He is one of those who is in my “Basket of Ignorable Deplorables”...you should add him to yours (or start your own basket if you don’t have one set up yet...he would make a great first choice!).

Cheers!

Jeff - in that you seem to ignore the possibility of fake news having impacted Moore’s election is equally sickening. I would think that you’d be a little more aware since it was (supposedly) Fake News that got Donald Trump elected as POTUS.

Keeping your head in the sand and believing all the rhetoric leads you and others like you to pass judgement on people without giving them the benefit of facing their accusers.
In Moore’s case, he supposedly had more that 30 years of such behavior. I find it very odd that none of these accusers ever came forward before now. I wonder what motivated them to all come forward at once?
BTW - I am not calling his accusers liars as that would be passing judgement on them.

Most Lawyers feel that Scales of Justice are of paramount imoprtance, yet they seem to mean very little to you.

I beg to differ, Jeff. Da Donald has not gotten to this position in life by being a simpleton...he realizes EXACTLY what type of impact his words have. He thrives when he can “Divide, Intimidate and Conquer”, he’s good at it because he has had so much practice in the world of big business.

Doug

Doug, have you heard Trump speak? Remember how he described Puerto Rico after the hurricane?

“surrounded by water, big water, ocean water,...' Simpleton. Moron, Dumba$$.

Obama asked that Scott Brown be seated in the Senate, after a Special Election, before voting on the ACA. In reverse, eight years later, are Trump and the Republicans going to do the same for Doug Jones and the tax bill? Uh, no.

Doug Jones winning in Alabama was celebrated here in CA. Thank goodness for the African American vote there. I feel the tide turning finally.

If we get the F'ing Moron to resign, then everything could be "right as rain" again. At least Rosenstein is supporting the good, dare I say, G-d's work of Mueller. I have a great feeling that 2018 will be a better year.

Larry, you always attack when you have nothing. When you start to insult, for example, Jeff Y. or me, you must realize that you have nothing to fight back with. No? It's your "tell."
