Hell yeah I said it. If someone voted Trump, they own that. They elected as President a man who thinks sexual assault -- ASSAULT as in non-consensual -- is ok. Said and stand by it.

Lewinsky? She was 24. Clinton shouldn't have engaged in a relationship with her, and yeah, definite unbalance of power. All wrong. But it was consensual.

Do we really need to explain this in any more detail?

Trump has admitted to being entitled to sexually assaulting women because he is famous. Clinton was a cad who had a consensual relationship with a younger woman in a situation where he used fame/money as an attractor. The former is a crime. The latter is bad behavior that happens all the time.

It’s not the thread , it’s the people that live in this thread and contribute absolutely nothing to the GT40 community. I’ve received several PMs lamenting the same sentiments so it’s not just me having a problem. A GT40 focused community forum would be interesting...

Mike, just drop it. You simply don't like hearing/reading/seeing opposing viewpoints. Your view of a "GT40s community" is everyone in lockstep with how you see the world.

That wouldn't be much fun would it? If you don't like reading this stuff, don't come here. That simple.

Yes well Mike, the thing is (and this is just my take on it), the existence of the Paddock keeps the rest of the site 'clean' for yourelf and the more serious types..

Some of us 'may' have owned GT40's in the distant past but I can't speak for others who seem to enjoy it here. Perhaps there's just one or two people that get up your nose and not the whole Paddock community? I don't know..

I see you joined in 2011. I well remember the original site as do many of the other "10 year +" brigade, and the forums tended to get a little clogged and heated at times which, being interspersed as it were with the main GT40 content, really did sometimes impact the objectivity of the forum. Since the advent of the Paddock, the main forum is a serious, well run fantastic resource for the entire GT40 community and anyone building or modifying any mid engined classic sportscar, and for that, I think the Paddock has been very successful.

I know it's a mantra Mike but you really don't have to watch the train wreck. This is my own opinion and may not represent the viewpoints of others, or indeed the Ron Himself.

I always thought she was a willing participant Al, have I got that wrong? Anyway, if it's age differences that bother you, my first wife was around 5 years younger than me, my second was 20 years younger than me and my third was, er, 25 years younger than me so he beats me by 2 years the sly old dog.

If I had a daughter and she was 22 years old and she had a relationship with a man of 49 years old, her boss, then I would be very unhappy about it. However, I wouldn't kill him. Is that a reason for gun ownership? Hopefully not. :shocked:

Geez, the Paddock is on ironic fire here today. So, old Bill has a bit of hanky panky with a girl young enough to be his daughter, then gets to visit 72 virgins! Seems it would have been win win for Willy...
