Sums up your above quoted 'conclusion' quite accurately...

Whatever conclusion you might be referring to, whether impeachment, indictment or resignation, we're getting closer to that inevitability.

But I'd like him to seal his fate, by firing Mueller, Sessions and/or Rosenstein. Any one or combination of them is fine by me. Let's challenge our democracy with a little revolution or a Constitutional crisis.

I don't want him to interview with Mueller, I want him to be subpoenaed by Mueller, I want him to challenge the subpoena and then I want the matter of his presidency before the Supreme Court. Let's GO!

I heard today that as we get closer to the 2018 Midterm election, Mueller will have to "go dark," so as to not affect the election results, which was Comey's mistake. So, hopefully, we'll get some more action (indictments) before the Mueller team temporarily shuts down.

Accusations mean next to nothing Rod. Convictions do. So you are basically saying that both parties are bad, just that Democrats are “less bad”....
Either way you slice it - we’re in a heckuva pickle here.

As to payoffs to prostitutes - Even if there was a preponderance of evidence that says he did pay them off, whatever happened before the election means very little...
Trump was not elected to be our Pastor or Rabbi - instead he was elected to take care of the business of the country.

The $130,000 payoff was made 5 days before the 2018 election, and now "many people are saying" there may have been other hush money/payoffs, all of which could have affected the outcome of the 2018 election. And then there's the possibility that you can't make a contribution of more than $2,700 to a compaign, which would violate election law.

That might not mean much to you, but it does to me.

And then there's the whole "pee pee" tape matter and our President, who refuses to sanction Russia after an overwhelming vote 99-1 (or something like that) in the Senate, could be right now being blackmailed by the Russians.

"Sex, lies and videotape" is what we have here.

Rod, you have to admit - If every nuance and inconsistency in Obama’s life were dissected in this manner, it would have been played off as being racist and the Dems would have been totally up in arms. Sure there were some things that played along the same creepy lines - Birther movement as just one.

So to my way of thinking... We may not have an actual crime here, but we are going to continue to spend taxpayer dollars looking for one to pin on Donald Trump because the Dems simply refuse to work with this President or his party..

If ONLY 10% of the energy and dollars being spent on this were spent instead on real meaningful legislation that would help unite this country - well - it sure would be a breath of fresh air.
I would really like to boot every single elected official out of office at the end of their current term.
Oh - that might be construed as draining the swamp... Well, maybe that really does need to happen...

Your assuming that Mueller and the Southern District of NY have not found a crime yet, but I feel pretty sure crimes have been committed. Mueller and his team wants to talk to Comrade Trump first, but The Perp has been evading the Mueller interview, because he can't tell the truth and he could and probably would use the 5th. You only use the 5th, if your guilty and don't want to incriminate yourself. The Perp said so himself.

Draining the swamp should start with Scott Pruitt and continue on down the line of the The Perp's Cabinet, including Ben Carson and his $31,000 table. It seems to me that most The Perp's cabinet has been taking advantage of the taxpayer, so if Mueller and his team spend more money investigating, G-d bless them. Good money spent IMO.

Lastly, you're comparing Obama to Comrade Trump? Any comparison of those two is laughable. Comrade Trump tells 6.5 lies per day and he has a bunch of clowns around him, including Rudy Guiliani and Michael Cohen.

All I can do is shake my head Rod....
You really need to consider watching something on the TV other than CNN. Start looking into alternatives like BBC and NPR just as a couple for starters.

Or continue rubbing your palms together and hope your new source and you are right...

Meanwhile, the American Taxpayers are paying the bill for all of this and a good number of us are not too happy about it.

I suggest you stop watching Fox News, State TV for Comrade Trump.

Criminals are criminals. Mueller has found a bunch of them already. I suppose you're OK with crime? I'm not. That's good money spent IMO, especially when some of us want to know how much Russia impacted and meddled in our 2016 Election. Or how Comrade Trump paid $130,000 to keep a porn star quiet 5 days before the election. I guess that doesn't mean anything to you, but it does to me.

And if we're going to cut costs, I'd start with with The Perp's Cabinet, who building sound proof rooms for $50,000, rooming with lobbyists for $50/night and traveling around the world (Pruitt) just because he wants to be a tourist. Then there's the $31,000 desk that Ben Carson ordered. I can keep on going.

And everyone keeps talking about the great economy, but there's been no wage growth in the last labor report and, since late January, the stock market (and my portfolio :bigcry:), has been WAY down.

Skinny Man
Assuming for a moment that Trump is inherently no different off camera than any other past president (I can't imagine that being true, but let's go with that). Just the fact that he's such a dick brings way more criticism on him than would be if he simply acted normal (not Presidential, which would be nice, but at least normal). He brings this on himself, so there is no defense that we (3rd party folks) should offer on his behalf. That's like feeling bad for the school-yard bully that finally got his ass handed to him.

I would be extremely concerned if this guy lived next door to me, was an employee or peer where I work, or had any influence in what my children see or hear. I can't imagine true conservative, flag-waving, god-fearing Americans could think any differently. If so then conservatism has degraded into something dark. So my lack of understanding is why these same people think that a personal dick is going to be an American hero as a President? Are the goals of conservative politics that shallow?

'Laughed until I cried when I read this! If there's a better endorsement/recommendation in FAVOR of Haspel being confirmed, I'd sure like to know whose it might be!

9/11 alleged mastermind comes out against Haspel's nomination as next CIA chief | Fox News

I have to say, from what little I know so far, I think Haspel’s nomination is one of Comrade Trump’s BEST hires to date.

And while I’m complimenting Comrade Trump, great job on bringing home the 3 Americans from North Korea.

Agreed, Rod! As I have said, I like some of the things I see him doing...changing his mind on the "Dreamers" issue, that sort of thing.

OTOH, he's still operating this country like it's his own business to do with as he pleases....:furious:

I doubt if bringing 3 Americans home will overshadow all the "shady" stuff he does and has been doing...

Making one potentially good hire (most of them are crooks) and freeing 3 Americans from NK doesn't make everything rosy and go back to Square 1 for me.

I still think there's criminal actiivity we have yet to learn from the Mueller investigation and I still think he's trying to kill our environment. Among a thousand other things he's screwed up.

And today he threatened the free press, again.
