Guys, I went through the same drama, of trying to insure the components of a 1/3 built car, and was told by my insurer State Insurance one of the biggest in NZ, that the parts were covered under the household policy even in the garage for fire theft etc , if they were physically on a shelf or in a cupboard, but were not covered if they were actually attached to the car, so I have a cupboard full of parts, and not a lot on the car. This could explain the slow progress. :lol:
