Long time member, second time posting

Hi everyone. I’ve been a member for a long time now, trying to work out if I have the skill / knowledge to put one of these machines together. Through this site I have meet a couple of members which have spent a lot of time going over the build process, thanks Jim C and Chris.
In 2008, I purchased a Venom Motorsport body and chassis which has sat patiently in the garage until all the other projects were completed. Work only really started on the GT40 this year but progress is slow going. Hope I’ll finish the car before I’m too old to drive it.

Hi Brian,
With Jim and Chris to lean on you will have no problems building your GT40!
I feel the same way about my build. I started in November 2009, it is still waiting for some panels to be fitted .

you'll never be too old to drive it, getting in and out will be the issue; good luck with the build, keeping us informed of progress will comfort other greenhorns like me,....that we are not alone.
