Picutres of GT in BLACK ???

can anybody point me to pictures of the GT in black? i've found snaps online of all the other colors, but none of black.

the official site mostly shows red white and blue (no accident, i'm sure!).

Not a new Ford GT. Which is NOT a GT40.

Big difference in my opinion, with the GT40 a much better looking car.

earl - i'm pretty sure all those pics on the official site are blue not black. i've enhanced them and they come out blue. and the blue car has a white stripe (like in the pics) but according to the order guide, the black car only comes with a silver stripe.

so i don't think we've seen a black 2005 GT yet......

would love to be proven wrong though - please post!

Look very black to me. I'd post a pic of it here, but they might be copywrited.

If you are looking under the production pics, you'll see 12 pics. On the right hand side, going down, it would be pics 2 and 3. If you go to the wallpaper, you can pull up a Midnight Blue. You'll see a difference. Of course, it could just be my old eyes. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

i am 98% sure those are blue, for two reasons. first, when i pull them into photoshop and color-enhance them they go blue in a hurry. it's possible that there's a blue hue to the photo and photoshop is enhancing that though. second, the order guide says that blue cars come with white stripes and black cars come with silver stripes. those stripes are definitely white. purportedly they're production photos (as per the secon title) but who knows.

i think we have yet to see a black one....

You're correct; that's a blue one (one of the 3 "first" built last year for Ford's Centennial).
