Hi Guys,
CAV Canada is offering a new Rear Suspension Upgrade Kit. It's available in standard or wide track configuration.
What the new arms do is eliminate the bushings in the original CAV parts and the binding/friction that goes with them. Autofura has addressed this on cars produced from 100 onward. Our kit applys to all earlier cars.
Additional benifits include:
Quick and easy to dial in alignment by rod ends without using shims for rear toe-in.
Reduced unsprung weight by eliminating the braces used to counteract deflection of the hub by toe adjusting shims.
Center the tire on the wheel arch without running low on threads on the rod ends of the upper and lower trailing arms.
Additional rear anti-squat by tilting hub rearward (like front castor looks like).
Decreased angle of inclination of the rear coil-over mounts which reduces the loss of spring rate in bump, so it won't bottom as easily.
No deflection of bushings to upset tire contact patch provides for better grip everywhere, acceleration, breaking and cornering.
For the wide body cars running stock 15x10 wheels, this is the way to fill those big wheel arches and upgrade handling and ride at the same time.
The kit is a bolt-on part and makes a huge difference to the performance and looks of these supercars. Pics to follow.
Cheers
