Renault transaxle parts interchange question

Gentlemen,

My car (GT40 Replications Ltd.) is configured for a
Renault transaxle, which is fine by me because I like
the gear ratios. I have a 369.05 (out of, I believe,
a Renault 20) refurbished by Renault, and equipped with
a new input shaft and very spiffy cast bellhousing
allowing the use of Ford clutch components. The problem
is that the final drive of the 369.05 is an unacceptably
low 4.11:1.

So the question: will the 3.44 final drive from a UN1
swap into my 369? UN1 parts are readily available here
in the states due to the fact that they were used on
the Delorean DMC-12 which has a reasonable cult following.

I am afraid that the answer is going to be "no", so I
will ask another question. Do the UN1 and 369 share
common front cover/bellhousing/input shaft features
which would allow me to use my custom bits should I
be forced to purchase a UN1 someplace?

Scott

Scott,
I have UN1 in mine, you are welcomed to come and take a look. I am about 25 minutes a way from you. I am in Oakland every other weekend when it is not raining!
