Ricardo Electric Plugs

Anyone know whick male plugs will fit the plugs on the ricardo trans, I was going to try to use the factory reverse switch and (temp sender?) If not I'll try to figure it out.
Thanks

The two connectors on the Ricardo are the VSS and the reverse switch. If you find the connectors, let the group know.

The temporary workaround is to use the appropriate spade connectors, and close up the opening with heat shrink to keep out the dust, etc.

But the correct connectors would be best. I just haven't seen them anywhere.

Look up the part number for the VSS and see if it is used on any other trans or car then get the pigtail

From what I have been able to research;

VSS Sender= 94 Mustang or Crown Vic Rock Auto #S699 $6.83

Reverse Switch= same as T-5 trans

Well there are certainly no shortage of those around should be pretty easy to scare up

I just called a source who informed me that it a V-6 T5 and T-56 Magnum uses this style reverse switch connector. Pigtails a about 14 inches long. I ordered one, $15.00, when I receive it, I'll give update. He has several on hand.

I received the pigtail that was guaranteed to fit. It was close but didn't.

The connector on the Ricardo is a two pin weather-pak, and it has two female pins. The T-5 pigtail I rec'd also had female pins.

I made a visit to my NAPA store and bought the following:
- one #725176 male body $3.69
- two #725170 14-16 male pins $1.98
- you will need two grey seals (I had them) about $.60
- wire ( I used about 2ft. so I can decide where to route them best.
I made up the terminal and it snaps in perfectly.
