Dear all!
Bought a nice Tornado from UK. Built in and registred in 1996. Bought the car with a valid MOT.
I found out that there is no possiblity to transfer a car within the union from one county to another if it's a singel build.
Talking about free movement thorugh borders with in EU?
Got an approval from Swedish Road Authoroty that this car should be considered as if I have built it.
Contacted the the Swedish SVO organisation, which is NGO.
The inspected the vehicle today to the cost of 450 euros.
The inspection was 95% looking at UK SVA papers. A short test ride and a braking test ----> 1,09 G !!!! (with cold brakes)
Next step is to get the formal registration MoT on the car.
This is just boring, why can not the EU be a real EU with real free movement of goods, why have all thing have to be papers, papers and fees?
David built a car good enough for UK conditions, then I think it will be good enough here in Sweden!
However it seens to be OK in the end and after, let's say 700 euros or more.
