I want to bring some reasonable sized(seats) items to Australia from the UK but i cant find any reasonable priced carriers.
I am hoping someone can give me a contact or company that has fair prices.
I wish you luck Dave, the UK would have to be the most expensive country in the world for freight, have no idea why, ive tried in the past and given up and bought from the US.
cheers John
It works in reverse, too....needed a "cheap as chips" Wipac headlight bucket...the freight to the US would have FAR exceeded the cost of the bucket and the trim ring.
Gotta wonder why....in this day and age of global commerce you'd think most similar transports would be of similar cost.
To be honest, the UK to AUS is about the furthest you can freight anything, so it's going to cost the most. And for some reason most shipping companies now only air freight between the UK and the US.
Now Jon if there was a Pilot about to do the UK - Australia route and was going to take some goods on board for a "buddy" I am certain the cost in beers would be reasonable!
Doug UK USA is cheap enough if you ask the right people!
