Hi guys,

I want to buy a set of 4 x 48 IDA webers carbs but i just want to know your opinion if they run great or if you have to do a lot of tuning.

Initial tuning can be a bit of work but they really sing once they are setup. There are plenty of folks around that have the experience and can help with setup. Definitely worth the effort IMO.

I do not mean to hijack the thread but my queation is in the same vein. I have a set of 48 IDA's that I plan to put on the CAV soon. I have a 302 with aluminum heads,but I know very little else about this Performance Engineering built motor except it is said to be near 400 hp. Any suggestions on initial set up? Jets ect... thanks; chuck smith
