I used the Cast Aluminum COBRA pan on mine. When I originally installed the engine, I had it roughly 1/2" higher and the pan was flush with the belly pan of the car. Then I lowered the engine 1/2" to address some other issues and now the pan protrudes a like amount. I will be installing a skid shield in the event of bottoming out..
Please note that the baffles in these pans truly suck by today's standards and I reworked them.
I also relocated the train plug from the bottom of the pan to the rear of the pan for additional ground clearance.
