Ross.....I have no words - when I saw your post this morning it made my heart sink. I am so sorry for your loss. Family experience tells me that depression/mental illness can be a challenging condition to cope with. Sometimes no amount or love and caring can make it better and medications come with their own set of challenges. Know that you and Cheryl did your best and perhaps now your son can have some peace.

Sincerely,
Dave Lindemann

Ross --
Words are completely inadequate to express how sad this is for you and your wife. Losing a loved one is bad enough, but to lose a child...

Ross and Cheryl,
I just found this post and I cannot express the sorrow that Debbie and I feel for the both of you. Our prayers are with you and your son. Words fail to express our sorrow for your loss.

God Bless you both.

Ross & Cheryl,
I can't even put into words how sorry I am for your loss. Children are supposed to bury their parents, not the other way around. You guys are in the thoughts and prayers of my family and of course all your friends here are with you. It's going to be difficult for you guys, but be strong and you will get through it.

Love you all,

Brian

Much sympathy and understanding Ross and Cheryl.

A good friend of mine committed suicide years back. Our group of
friends still will wonder if we had tried our best. But, when all is
said and done, we probably did.

Ross and Cheryl,
I am so sorry for your loss. We also have a son with problems, he has aspergers syndrome, and due to medication has serious ups and downs, i don't think the medical profession has all the answers. As parents you can only do so much to help your children, and i'm sure you and Cheryl have done all that was possiable.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and we offer our deepest condolences.

Thanks for sharing that with us Ross. Our daughter is in a similar situation to your son, and some days it seems like we just take it one day at a time. I cannot imagine what you are going through right now, and even though I cannot empathize with you fully on your heartbreak, I pray you live by your conviction and allow comfort to fill your life in memory of your son.

I am very very sorry to hear of your loss Ross, my sympathies are with you and the rest of the family.
