You tell me ?

Can someone tell me why this car has an FIA passport, as it is a new car? Is it because it is an exact copy of a sixties' Mark I car?

The quick answer is: It doesn't have one.

Quote: "fully FIA HTP (Historic Technical Passport) eligible". Unquote.

Clever wording designed to suck you in together with the "Fully FIA legal 289" etc etc

In the sellers opinion it should get FIA HTP. There's a mile of difference.

Got it. And of course if you buy it and it DOESN'T get one, they aren't responsible. Clever.

I'm sure it's a nice car, but E250K? They wish.
