Glad that you didn’t have an issue. Yes, oversizing the holes is a good idea.

You should use anchor nuts to allow for expansion and contraction of the window. This will prevent the window from cracking at the bolting locations. NUT,FLOATING ANCHOR MS21059L08

    Superlite Logo

You had better ask Will.. I believe he owns the IP for the logos. At least that's what he chimed at me weeks ago on the Facebook page when I printed up some shirts. Lol. I wasn't using any SL-C intellectual property...

Recently, I went through the front brakes on my SL-C and adjusted and changed a few things. I thank Howard for the consulting. I also added the frit border to the windshield.

Dave. It doesn't look like you clearanced the body so you remove the rear tires when the suspension is in droop. What is your plan?

    Side window installation

I used floating aircraft style floating nutserts which are secured to the door with countersunk rivets. The polycarbonate window expands and contracts with heat and if you lock the window down the window will likely crack at the bolt hole locations.

No problem Howard. I’m planning to cut mine into the body and glass it in eventually. The final scoop design is made with a flange that matched the surface of the SL-C roof. I’m going to bolt mine initially.

Thank you very much. I’m very fortunate that I work in Automotive and I have access to expensive design software. I also thank my father for my mechanical mind and getting me started in the Automotive hobby when I was young.

The new side mirror shape is out of the tooling now as well. I’ve been working on the SL-C quite a bit.
