don't forget the front wheel bearing has now been disturbed and will need sorting out/adjusting properly. they actually have preload rather than a slight amount of play like most front wheel bearings. i think i was told 7 thou preload (it was a while ago). but ring Gelsco anyway to make sure...

the seats in 1107 have been made wrong. they are one piece, instead of two like 1103, so it's like trying to sit in a hammock, there is no give. i couldn't even get into 1107 yet i can drive 1103 fine. Gary let one of the guys from Ford Heritage drive 1103 and he couldn't believe how different...

Conserving a Legend - '67 Le Mans Winning Mark IV

anyone get pictures of the two MK3s side by side on track? (both used as course cars) .

they are (apart from the top two). googling "GT40 MK3" images comes up with a few pictures of 1103 where as it didn't a few months ago.

it doesn't quite photograph easily as it looks different colours with different cameras. but it does look great in the flesh. i can't stop looking at the car everytime i walk past it.

look out for the car at the LeMans classic next weekend :thumbsup:
