    It's odd I know but I like the aluminum chassis and am not worried about originality. I have been closely looking at the original monocoque and find it to be way over complicated and too costly for what it is. I think that the new monocoque designs (RCR and CAV) are the best bang for the buck...

    Are there any published dimensions for the body mounting points on the MK1 GT40? My eventual endgame is to create a full aluminum body that I could bolt to a rolling chassis without too much fuss. I have a cad model of the body shell, but no data on mounting points.
