I am one of the three team members, who builds a GT40 monocoque with a lot of effort. My main job in the development of our project that we call, Project GTX, is finding measurements, trying to draw in GT40 through many hours of observation and interpretation of images and drawings. After getting measurements, i make shop plans, easy enough to be able to build it.
We started the project in 2011, we have not finished it yet but we hope to do so.
My dream of building a GT40 did not come from me, it was thanks to the persistent insistence of my good friend Landy, who induced me to build this GT40, and thanks to him, I now appreciate every detail of this car.
It hasn't been easy, but the passion for building a GT40 makes us continue against all odds.
