Lovely to see those old memories. My car was the silver one, 6 GTD. The car has been substantially improved since that time (and is now in Gulf colours) but was still great then. A great group of guys to have fun with. I remember those times fondly.
I have a ZF 5DS-25 Type 2 for sale that is straight out of 6 GTD (my GT40). It has been flipped for GT40 use and comes complete with the GT40 top mounting plate and 6 bolt CV stub axles. The final drive ratio is 4.22.
The box works great with no issues at all and is in very good condition...
I just read the rules of posting in this section and realised that I had forgotten to say where the parts are. I am based in Gibraltar but as most of you know, the works on my car are carried out by Wealden Engineering in Hailsham, East Sussex. That is where the parts are located.
