Rick, my memory says it was more like 1965-66 than 1967 so that agrees with you about being a Street Coupe. Only time I ever saw a GT40 around Dallas until 2004/5.

Rick, could be what you say. I graduated high school in June 1967 and remember it being winter so perhaps it could be either. One of those times a car stood out like an alien spaceship.
