viton is the best material but a bit more expensive - typically 1mm thick for a gasket and can be bonded to the cover plate to ensure a perfect seal on one side of the plate - don't forget seals under the bolt heads if the fixing holes in the tank are through holes and not blind captive nuts -...

aluminium pipes should be fine - Mclaren F1 roadcars use / used HE30 (not sure what the new equivalent is) - no problem 25 years later other than the anodising faded - not that you need to anodise. 5 or 6mm bore bleed lines are usually good - ptfe hose is good

Hi Bruce I have a Southern GT SBF flywheel which you could borrow, I will have to check teeth number and I would require it back.

Does anyone have a original style steering rack casting ? Either machined or unmachined in aluminium or magnesium ? or I would consider a fully assembled example if available. It is for a UK based right hand drive replica build.
