    RCR's Next car should be.....

You are correct that parts for the 2005/2006 FGT are expensive but try buying the whole car with starting prices now well north of $200K. Still looking forward to your RCR GT-R. Would consider having one of your GT-R's for track use while preserving my original.

    RCR's Next car should be.....

Have not been on this site for awhile and need an update. Before I decided to spring for the real deal 2005/2006 FGT, I had been looking at RCR's GT40 and was disappointed you could not put a bigger modern engine in it. I was looking at getting a salvage Mustang GT500 and pulling engine for RCR...

In what year where the CAV Gt40 upgrades performed like steel uprights vs. cast aluminum. Were the upgrades on all cars with build #'s 100 and above. Where is the build number at on the car?

Any SLC owners in the Phoenix, AZ area?

Dan, I asked the same question a while back since I am 6'-2" with more leg than body and unfortunately the answer is no. There is a gentleman down in Tucson with his SLC for sale and another new SLC build owner northwest of us I think. Fran will tell you to go back and visit his shop in...

    Parts Source List

Will, good feedback. It seems as I have gone through this website the past months that I have seen many parts used on builds. Sourcing parts seems to be a big time consumer for the builds. Thought it would be helpful to have a parts list of what SL-C builders have already used. You may be right...

    Parts Source List

Has anyone ever started a parts sourcing list for the SLC build. Wasn't sure if RCR build manual had a list but was considering starting one here on the forum as an Excel spreadsheet. As a potential future RCR build project owner, I have seen many builds here on this website and thought it would...

    Intro & Looking for opinions/advice

Stephen, I too have been a lurker for several months and Fran at RCR is very helpful to answer your questions. Based on your preferences you can go with a SLC roller with a new LS motor and new Grazanio 6 speed transaxle installed by RCR. Motor and trans will set you back approximately $10K a...
