    I noticed in your first picture that is seems like the foot box area is picture framed in 3/4 in aluminum angle. Is the norm for the constuction of this kit or just something that will be omitted later?

    Chuck in picture 2 it looks like you might what to cut down the shim under the spider to get the line of the door and rear clip even with the body line of the spider, but I must say she is looking good.

    Chuck I dont think old shell would have painted the spider back in the 60s, remember that these where designed for racing and paint adds weight, thats why the originals had a corrosion problem, they didn't even use primer inside the sealed frame work.
