I am almost certain that the six speed is proprietory to RBT, designed and built by them using ZF case, I know the only six speed trans ever fitted to the Pantera by De Tomaso were Getrag.

About 7.5 pints or a little under 4.5 liters to fill a ZF. At least that is what my Pantera takes. If the ZF is mounted the opposite way in a GT40 it may be slightly different. Either way filling is just a matter of pouring in slowly until it begins to seep out of the filler hole. With Panteras...

Congratulations Darren, looks like you got a great deal, I am in the same position as you were. But a little more difficult when you are on the other side of the sea, cannot just hop in the car and take a drive to look. Anyway enjoy Steve
