Hi Louis Just got back from vacation, sorry for the late response. I was able to secure a ZF gearbox from Fran at RCR a bit pricey, hard to get, but that's the gearbox that was used in the original GT40's A lot of guys are going with the Porche G96 gearboxes. Which builder are you using for your GT40?

RBT remanufactures the ZF if you want to go new. If you go with Porche there are other gearboxes you can upgrade to, depending on how you plan to drive your car. How much HP are you looking to get out of your 427?
I'm sure you had a great vacation. Prestige Motorsports is building my engine and it should be done around April. I'm waiting on RBT to get back on what they have and pricing. I also contacted Quaife on their ZF for around $19,000. Fran got you an original ZF? Wow! What did it cost if you don't mind me asking.
totally rebuilt and set up for the GT40 $15,500 I was extremely happy when I received it, it looked brand new. I was at RCR in October and he had another one there. I doubt if its still available but give him a call. Also someone on GT40's had a few of them for sale , but they need to be rebuilt. I don't know if they are still available
