Shifter gates for GT40 SPF MK II ?

Your photos are SPF supplied pieces, not Olthoff. Refer to 2014 link in above post for Olthoff kit. Unfortunately Olthoff's website is still not fully operational, but you can call them for price and availablity.

Shifter gates for GT40 SPF MK II ?

Does your SPF have the Olthoff shift kit? If not it does shorten throws and is more precise.

    Need cooling help please

I think my thermostat stood proud of the housing just a little like yours. I also had some leakage until I used gasket with Right Stuff. Also are either of the bolts too long? Seems to me one of the threaded holes in the manifold was shallow.

    NC Barn Find!

I think Ole might be right. Stripes and mirrors match photos. If so you inherited a real treasure. https://www.427garage.com/vehicles/336/1966-superformance-gt-40-mk-i

What adhesive did original GT40's use for windscreen bonding? Were urethane adhesives available then or was butyl used?

SGT40 - Driveshaft Sensor Help Requested

My guess is you need to orient the sensor toward the allen bolt heads with a gap between .010" and .025".

    What is it ?

Picture would be helpful. Number light was pretty standard for night races, but are you saying further back yet?

    MG steering SPF

Just checked my SPF Mk11. Lock to lock is almost exactly 2 turns. Also tires should start to touch inner wheel wells at full lock with plastic stops removed. Apparently you're having some interference getting full lock. Are you sure plastic stops are completely removed and no remnants were left?

    MG steering SPF

You're right about the Moss Motors MG steering rack Rick except it's made in Argentina. Removing the plastic stops did make a sizable reduction in turning radius in my experience. Fewer 3 point turns.

    SPF parts

Yes there are a few GT40 parts listed, but not many. Usually have to call to get prices.

    Ferrari's Nightmare | All Ford GT40 race | 2013 Whitsun Trophy | Goodwood Revival

Really enjoyed watching that race in person. Kenny Brack was phenomenal. Even more so if you watched him in the rain in practice.

How much fluid goes into RBT 5DS/201 ZF in my SPF GT 40 MK II

Do not use the side plug as your fill indication. 6 quarts is WAY too much ! 2.5 to 3 quarts is correct. I'm confused as to your trans orientation. In previous posts there was discussion whether your ZF was in Pantera orientation or GT40. In GT40 orientation you should be filling thru the top...

    Introduction

Here are the Texas options on the SEMA site: chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://www.semasan.com/semaga/TagTitleToolbox_TX.pdf 'Custom vehicle' is probably your best option. That should give you a 1960's title. The requirement 'altered from original design' is as simple...

    Introduction

Welcome Ryan, think you'll be pleased with your SPF. I'm not familiar with Texas registration options, but keep in mind getting a 1960's year on your title makes selling your car to buyers in most other states more desirable. In WA we have a 'custom car' registration that allows a year of...

what order to install Bundle of snakes

Installation I use is #2 L&R, #3 L&R, #1 L&R, #4 L&R. Longest and straightest headers should be at front of engine. I use the Felpro gaskets. Only use outer bolt holes, not inner ones.

    SPF Quick Jack dimensions

Front is 25.75" between ears. Rear is 10.5". Ears themselves have 3/4" diameter circle, but I made my lifting bar 5/8". Didn't notice you ordered a Mk I. My measurements are for a Mk II. Front should be same, but maybe not rear?

    SPF steering rack stops

I have an earlier Mk 11 (P2226). It came with 225/60/15 front tires. I removed the plastic travel stops because the turning circle was limited. That definitely helped. I just try not to crank the wheel hard so the tires don't rub at full lock.

    Transaxle differences

ZF DS 25/2 is an original transaxle used on GT40's, Panteras, and a few other cars. It has not been in production by ZF for decades. RBT got the rights to manufacture and distribute the ZF DS 25/2 about 40 years ago I believe. RBT is based in the LA area and High Performance Gear actually...
