Nice looking GT40 replica Jim. Not obvious that there's any Fiero in it. The photo you posted is one of the Ford prototypes chassis GT102. Even though Eric Broadley (Lola) was involves at the early stages I believe the prototypes were Ford, not Lola models. The only Lola predecessor was the...
I don't think the belt choice is up to SPF. Since you buy the car as a roller there is no engine. Many SPF's have Roush engines that are supplied with a multi ribbed serpentine belt. Maybe Roush supplied earlier crate engines with v belts. I got my Roush 427SR in 2008 with multi ribbed belt.

Brian,
Have you posted a build log on this site? Your chassis looks very much like Superformance, but I see some differences in the tubing and rivets on the firewall. Is it custom and not a Superformance?
Did most of that drive years ago, but certainly not in a 40! You have a wonderful country Brian and one that paid enough attention to Covid to make such a drive possible.

I think torque is the real issue here. For street use and no dragster starts both the Quaife and RBT should be fine up to 550 lb. ft. I did break 4th gear on my RBT twice with 520 lb. ft. after 10 track days and racing slicks. No problems on the street.
