***SOLD*** RCR SLC For Sale ***SOLD***

just curious , why did you decide to sell it with 100 miles on the odometer? worried about reliability? comfort? too raw? too scary? if you don't mind sharing. I am almost finished with my build and I am truly puzzled on why people sell their cars with so little miles, can't wrap my head around...

    Rear clam shell shock

I don't know of anybody that has struts on the rear clam. My setup with the factory hinge and street tail does not , the hinge itself supports the rear clam when fully opened. Hope this information is helpful to you.

Restarting my SLC project in West Texas

A recess was made on one of the aluminum mounting plates using a router and a mounting screw was also attached to the same plate and holes for the mounting tabs on the other. I figure there will be a lot of torque on the mounting plates as the windshield wiper turns back and forth.

I am new here, so I would like to begin by adding something useful.

This entire thread is super helpful. I wish I had seen it before I made several fiberglass parts, I had to figure out all those details the hard way, by messing up and having to re do things several times. A must read for anybody making custom molds and fiberglass parts. The entire process can...

    Geoff's Build Thread

    Mark B's Build Thread

Mark: Great job on the exhaust, sounds great!!! I am pretty sure I will have to re do mine eventually, way too loud as it is, the original mufflers I chose did not fit since I had to modify the rear clam to accommodate the corvette tail lights . Quick question, you had the car at 187 mph , if...

In July very cool visitors came to West Texas, Cam drove his SLC from Denver in 110 degree weather!!! What a friend. The SLC held up nicely and Cam did not melt. Howard also drove from New Braunfels for the SLC owners West Texas reunion LOL. How many guys does it take to finish a front hinge...

Restarting my SLC project in West Texas

So , finally received my front hinge and decided to mount it prior to designing the front air duct , as it would save a lot of time . like everything else in this project, nothing is straight forward , as it turns out the front hinge mounts to the walls of the radiator box, and those are not...
