    Ds2500 pads?

No problem, I have a bit of a brake fetish to be honest :D

    Ds2500 pads?

They should be yes, certainly for the 4-pots. I don't know who the distributor is over there but Ian @ Godspeed Brakes can have them made any shape you like. If you find you need more braking power than that I think you'll have to put up with the odd bit of brake squeal and go for either the...

    Ds2500 pads?

The NDX are a new pads for this year - I've always been a bit wary of EBC pads as they done some crap compounds before, but after trying their 2011 Bluestuff and their new compound of Greenstuff for this year too they've certainly turned things around. The Bluestuff NDX does everything you've...

    Ds2500 pads?

In that case I'd stick the new NDX Blue's on, they're silent and generate less dust than the DS2500's.

    Ds2500 pads?

DS2500 are a very good pad indeed, they are a good step up from Red Stuff - however, if you get them too hot, they tend to leave deposits on the discs and cause vibrations - it can be hard to tell if they're overheating because they don't fade much even when they are. However, the new EBC...

Anyone interested in a LSD for the UN5?

Confirmation at last, the UN1 gripper LSD can be adapted for the UN5 with a little machining, so if any of you guys want one for the UN5 units, then give Tom @ Gripper a ring and he can sort you out :D Just need to sort him some pennies out for delivery of ours now :D -While I'm here, does...

Anyone interested in a LSD for the UN5?

Just an update for the interested parties, this hasn't died, just with the weather before/over Christmas, holidays and the Autosport show it got put on the back burner a bit. However, it does look like the UN1 unit they already offer can be altered with minimal machining to fit, should know...

Using unions instead of fuel line?

It won't help, but it certainly won't kill it, we use to use a damned similar setup to get our 044 in the nose of the car (we did actually end up switching to hose because the vibration kept slackening fittings, but we do have the pump rubber mounted because of the impacts - it's in a safari...

    velocity stack filters

I've always found they cost a considerable amount of torque as they dissapate the induction pulses.

I'm a bit of a 306 enthusiast myself, but that's just hilarious. Well done

Porsche 930 Transaxle, Half Shafts, Angles

A lot of people don't like them because sometimes the shaft can resonate and shoot up and down which causes rapid wear (and it's noisy). To be honest, both our CV's plunge on our car too - and the shaft slides on the splines as well - never had a problem with it, but then I'm not sure we'd...

Porsche 930 Transaxle, Half Shafts, Angles

TBH, we always have a spare set built up ready to go on if they looking like they're ready for a service partway through an event/season, they're not a huge amount of money so it's worth a few spares.

    Clutch LSD..Settings value welcome

Generally most tarmac rally car with plate diffs run somewhere from 25lb to 60lb of preload (after bedding in, so probably 35lb-80lb initially). Obviously they have acceleration ramps to help though, so I would think you're just going to have to start around there and then raise it until you...

Porsche 930 Transaxle, Half Shafts, Angles

A few guys tried it years back with the off-road buggies and found the stress it sent back through the shafts made them twist/muller the diff - it's not really a CV joint with that combination so it's understandable, it may well have been the result of vibrations but they wouldn't feel them...

    ZF type LSD for UN1/UN5

 I don't have that problem, got a CNC mill and lathe in the workshops ;)

    ZF type LSD for UN1/UN5

We already run a ceramic input bearing, but it tends to be the pinion + crownwheel we ill from the shock loads back through the transmission, if it's preload only it would be quite highly set for us, so I see what you mean about heat problems. I'll have a think about it first.

    ZF type LSD for UN1/UN5

Hi Stephane, have you sold any of your units to the Rallyes TT's guys? Would they be reliable under the stress of off-road rally use? I've currently got Gripper looking at building one for our UN5 equipped rally car, but if you already have one made/designed it's worth a look. Is it possible...

Porsche 930 Transaxle, Half Shafts, Angles

We use Millers Hi-Mol 20 for ours, if it's any cheaper for you, seems to work just fine for us, it doesn't seem to degrade much even with all the water/mud/etc that ocassionally manages to get in if we snag a boot.

Porsche 930 Transaxle, Half Shafts, Angles

Most off road places will stock the 'race prepped' 930 CV's with chro-moly cages and fettled housings. One thing I will say is make absolutely sure they are from proper GKN cores as the durability of the GKN housings far surpasses the other offerings available. We usually run a maximum of 26*...
