Yes and no. The supplier was Reynobond who manufacture in France and the US. They are part of Arconic, a US company, who were formed by the division of Alcoa into two separate entities.

    Muslim Madmen Strike Again

I would point out that these Islamist terrorists were armed with knives, not guns, probably due to the difficulty in obtaining firearms in the UK. If guns were freely available then I've no doubt that is what they would have used and the carnage would have been considerably greater. Automatic...

Goodwood likes to present itself as a stickler for authenticity but the reality is rather different. Pretty sure the T70s run solids as well, but then they're over 400lbs lighter.

Vented discs are 304mm x 32mm and use separate bells (steel originally, but everyone uses ally now). Calipers were Girling 18/4 all round or 18/4 front and 16/4 rear. CR and BR calipers are two piston, the three piston caliper on the Cobra was a 16/3 and 12/3 set. The reason you see so many cars...

    techalemit jackson fuel injection

On further thinking about this it occurred to me that the pump could be mounted and driven in the same way as Lucas metering units fitted on mid-engined V8s; fitted on the rear of the intake valley and driven by belt off the rear of the cam. I've got a pic of this setup on a GW engined T70...

The 427 is the high performance member of the FE family of Ford engines that was originally developed for NASCAR. How it came to be used in the GT40 program in MK2 guise is covered by most GT40 books that cover the USA side of the race program. Try here for lots technical detail: FE Power Forums...

z-f bell housing steel or aluminum?

I've suffered a clutch explosion in the past; blew the bellhousing apart (aly), broke the lugs on the block, cut the headers, holed the hood, dented the floor (double skinned) and put a large divot in the pit straight at Goodwood. Get a clutch that is properly spec'd for the job.

    Thoughts on this engine.....??

These engine are external balance using 50 oz imbalance damper and flywheel, so no need for any disassembly as the rotating parts are balanced to this spec (according to Speedway's description). The balancer part number can be found in the Q&A section.
