    battery and alternator feed cable

Starter motor to battery should be a good quality cable as short as makes sense from the sill mounted battery to the starter terminal (1 Gauge). Alternator positive lead depends upon whether you are using a low or high amperage output alternator. High output require a heavy cable and maxi-fuse...

Will FFR launch a GT40 replica?

Not aware the Shelby suit had anything to do with a GT40 since he never owned anything to do with that. And he lost most if not all of the claims he made. From what I remember, FFR said they would never build a 40, in spite of what the web recently says. Are you waiting because you don't have...

    Engine ID help

Beyond the Ford part number, it looks like 2H30 which is the actual casting date. 2 is the year in the decade so 1972. H is August, and 30 is the day. So I believe it is an August 30, 1972 cast block. The '9' is the Last digit of year of introduction or revision. Someone confirm this...

    Original ZF Transaxle

It looks like a Pantera -2 ZF that was flipped for your car. The top plate casting is a new cover added for use in the GT. RBT provides them. There should be a serial number stamped into the case at the rear seam on both cases (a 4 digit number). As well as the I.D. tag which you did not...

    Avon GT40 Extra Widebody Tires

Roger Krauss Racing in Castro Valley, Ca. But they would be AVON slicks that he hand cuts a vintage groove in. Need to call him to verify stock.

Marchal 652 and 653 spot / fog lights

I was told somewhere the 651, 653, 656 are the same basic lense and the "fog" light. The 652 is the "spot" light which does not have all the internal lense ribbing. Not sure if that is true.

How much fluid goes into RBT 5DS/201 ZF in my SPF GT 40 MK II

The original ZF in the Pantera flipped for use in my GT uses a nearly 3 quarts per Ron McCall. I can only assume the RBT is the same. In the Pantera orientation, it takes about 3.5 quarts. You fill through the vent hole in the top plate and you should have a small side hole near the bottom...

    Inner tubes

I am not sure why they would. The Pantera has magnesium wheels and nobody uses tubes on them provided they have been properly prepared, primed, and painted on the inside. I have never seen a race 40 at the track in modern times using tubes. All the AVON race slicks are mounted without tubes...

    Ferrari 330 P4 v12

that is incredible - is it a Norwood built car? Personally, I would ditch those side windows - on the real cars they always looked like an afterthought to me.
