Most builders angle the seat slightly toward the center. The steering wheel may need to be angled as well. if you want it lined up with your body which I recommend.

Mark, Thanks for posting this. Glad to hear the battery fired the engine right up. I also went with an Antigravity battery after Dusty and a couple other Ultima builders recommended them.

I would remove the battery case from its mounting bracket. The fuse block would stay in place. I reversed the top two screws to keep the fuse block bracket in place and have something to hang the battery case on when reinstalling…

I think the advantage of mounting the lines inside is that the flexible brake line goes right to the bulkhead fitting and is at a 90 degree angle which works well. The disadvantage is that you have to get in the footwell to plumb it. Not bad when you have access holes during the build process...
