    Forum Abuse and Advertising

I'll add my $0.02 worth here re: Fran. Fran/RCR is an excellent example of what Ron is trying to say here. Fran has been a long time member who often adds value to threads with no mention of his products by simply sharing his expertise. Does Fran walk the line? Yes he does, but he does a good...

    PC spec for Microsoft Access

Lee, In general Databases are only cpu hogs if you are doing a lot of change/add/delete work. If that is the case get the fastest CPU you can afford. Otherwise, they are disk intensive, so get the the fastest disks you can afford. If you can put the data on a striped array of disks it will...

    Oil Pan

John, I don't know specifically for the SPF, but I would guess either Aviad or Armando's. Personally, I think that Armando's looks the most original: See Gallery "L" listing for more pictures. Lynn

    Engine ID

I had a '65 Mustang with the Hi-Po 289 in it and I loved that car. It was one of three vehicles I wish I still had. The other two being a '63 Vette with the big valve 327 and my '53 Pan Head Harley. Oh well.............. Lynn

Sabre (with a bit left to do)

Luis, I think it would be a good thing if you could explain how the suspension mods were done: the new pickup points, A arms and uprights. I think there are enough people here who are familiar with Mike Starlings and my Sabre that may be wondering how that setup was arrived at and...

    Clutch Master cylinder size

Hydraulic Multiplication: The ratio of the piston sizes (in²) Slave:Master is what determines the mechanical advantage (softness of pedal) in the system. So that if you have a ½" master and a 1" slave, 10lbs of force on the master piston will produce 40lbs of force in the slave. (It is a...

why nobody still didnt assembly gt40 in china?

There is a huge issue with Intellectual Property rights not being observed in China as well. Quite a number of manufacturers who have chosen to produce goods in China, and other Asian countries, have found that, when the contracts have finished or been cancelled, products continue to be produced...

Want a VSS signal from your 5 DS-25?

WDZ, Usually the pulse is taken off of the ouput shaft of an inline transmission, so that only the diff or tire diameter would have an effect on the VSS output. On a transaxle, if the signal is taken off of the ring gear (on the '87 - '90 something Porsche it is taken off the bolt heads of...

Want a VSS signal from your 5 DS-25?

WDZ, Pulses are controlled by transaxle, so depends on the gearing and how the transaxle was setup for the mechanical speedo (as in, say, a Pantera.) This is not necessarily the same as the tranny out of a Mustang or other domestic Ford product that is designed to provide a VSS signal. Lynn

    ERA Chassis 2061

That is a wonderfully sorted car; absolutely lovely! I really like the understated elegance of this car: well done without being flashy, even with the polished transasxle. Scott, makes you wonder what??? The line does appear close to the primary, probably deserves a heat sleeve and/or could...
