    Hammer for knock off's

Did my own lead hammer, recycling old lead fishing sinkers... cast in a coca-cola aluminum can (cutted and removed after casting), with a metal shaft fitted through the can (If you wanna try that, just mind the lead vapour, which are toxic...heat and cast lead in open air only, wearing a proper...

    P/1046 Restoration Making News

Yeah, right ! The question is : remove it for the sake of originality, or keep it for FIA historic racing ? (I wish I had to wonder about such a dilemma :shy:)

    Dunlop Racing tires

I ran CR82 Dunlop which were on the car when I purchased it, and quickly got rid of it... Cross ply technology, and so difficult to find the right pressure, not so good on wet surface, etc. and very "special" on open road : you feel like if the car wants to follow a way that isn't always...

    Size of stacks

Martin, it probably depens a lot of what gearbox do you have, and in what position it is fitted. If it is the usual Renault UN1, in usual stock position (i.e. not inverted) clearance could be a problem (it would be on my GTD, with same engine). Maybe the SGT new rear end helps about that, but...

Paul, these seats did look very cool... May I ask where did you source them ? I'm planning to adapt similar ones custom made in my GTD. This could save me some time. Merci d'avance pour le tuyau !

How to build a Superlite that's actually super-light

Body Weight Savings (30lbs?) Last thing you forgot regarding "body weigtht" : put the driver on a serious diet, or/and on gym program, you'll save 20 lbs (depends on the driver's stature !) Cheap, and good for your health, if not easy...:devilish:

    A Riviera scratchbuilt GT40

Bravo ! Good choice... The end of the build process is close (if a build could ever be considered finished on these cars). I see you didn't decide to fit some spot lights in lower front ? (I still have my set of marchal waiting in a box, for me daring to use some saw on my cherished...
