One of my friend, rebuilding a mono replica with EFI engine, is going to use a in-tank HP pump to feed directly the EFI. It's an aeromotive phantom, with feed and return line on the same hanger + built-in foam and rubber baffle. He had received the pump, and said me it looks really very nice...

Hi Per, As many others guys here, I'm the happy owner of a GTD40. GTD are surely not as prestigious and attractive as semi-monocoque replicas (Superfomance, RCR, among others), cause they are space-framed chassis (unlike the originals) and their finish depends closely on their builders skill...

Re: German GT40 interpretation Sure you should use an Italian V6 ! An Alfa could be a nice choice, but it could be tricky to adapt.I've red somewhere that it could be feasible to use a 164 Alfa engine with its bellhousing + an adaptor plate (which you'll have to engineer...) to mate it to a UN1...
