Has anyone dealt with Motorbooks.com??? I see the Ronnie Spain's book is out there in hardcover for under $23. Are they better to deal with than using Amazon.com for a paperback version of the same book???

    ALMS Miller Motorsports Park

Outstanding pictures Toner!!! Looks like you were hanging out in the empty pit boxes during the race for some of those shots... Just an FYI -- fans are allowed in pit lane when the Grand-Am cars are rolled to the grid (Dyatona 24hrs) as well.

Boys & Girls go out to play.....

Dave freakin' McClelland!!!! Some of you gents "across the pond" may not realize that Dave was THE voice of the NHRA. Many a misspent summer weekend was spent at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ at the NHRA Summernationals, watching the action on the track and Dave's voice...

I'm looking to identify some of those cars in the pictures... I think the yellow #45 is #1077 (I see part of the Lynx Motors logo in the background). The yellow #49 is a mystery since it too is in the Lynx area, but I don't see anything on their website. Is the red #59 chassis #1042 or is...

    "LARRY"

Re: \"LARRY\" 280 km/hr?!?! That's over 173 mph to us Yanks!!! We would call that a major, category 5 storm. We had it bad enough back in 2004 in Florida, when we were hit by 3 hurricanes in the space of 7 or 8 weeks, but winds of that speed would have been devestating. You would be...

    Current State of the Forum

I was just about to say -- why not create a thread or two that deals stricly with all the "crap" associated with RF. It will probably keep the current threads pointed in the correct direction. In addition, those of us who are unaffected by it can go to one central place and read about it (or not).
