Wouldn't it make sense to weld flanges onto the collector outputs and then either fit some small straight-through race mufflers for the street and then some "turbo" style baffled mufflers for the track? Or use a V-band clamp system? Or slightly restrictive mufflers that you can bypass with...

You could always pop a spark plug out and put a stick in the chamber and measure the stroke top-bottom. In any case, if you got it cheap, sounds like a good deal.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead... But WOW, that is some good reading. Big thanks to all the posters and misc pics/attachments. So it looks like even if you ordered a deluxe kit from say RCR, etc perhaps they could break it into 3-4 different shipments and different invoices. Ship them...

Anybody buy a G50 from these guys? California Motorsports G50 5 speed section They seem to sell them outright which is great for kit car guys. Mention on their site about "inversion prep" and oiling, etc. Tons of upgrade parts. But man.... gets expensive. Even a new cable shifter is $900...
