Spot on Pete, 100% agree. Pit stop was the difference - Dan was only just behind LH as he went up hill after St D! Also during that pit stop we saw just how fast F1 is along s/f straight. The aerial shot of Dan coming out of pits showed just how amazing is the acceleration- just watch Lewis...
