I was thinking exactly the same! Maybe a catch somewhat like a bonnet so that if it's 'closed' it can't fly open even if unlatched and you have to press or do something to open it all the way.

Not sure of the rating on the 01X but you (and Brett) are right, it'll be fine, especially as the far lighter GT40 should give it a much easier time than the lardy Audi.

Assuming the kit/plans are the same layout as my chassis the gearbox axle line is slap bang in the middle of the lower suspension mount point bracket (the reversed A-arms) onto the chassis. I've got a measurement somewhere as well, I'll see if I can dig it out.
