I folded my long edges before I used the dimple dies and then they would not fit! In reality holes should be 1/8th in smaller to get the dimple. Not sure if I will redo. Not sure where the catches originated, I bought them from SGT with my chassis
most original my arse! hose clamp aeroquip hose on carbs, wrong sparkplug wires, dont think any of the road cars had the alloy valve covers.... and that is from one photo!
Here is a detailed pic of the left side shut of P1053 showing the top holes for the TR4 light and the switch in the dimple below. The piece of metal is rectangular that fits inside and covers both circles and is tacked in where you see.
You have to put down good floor protection because it is hell to clean off!
Why sound first then heat? I would have thought heat first to keep from conducting into the metal.
