I've a 302 with standard water pump as has already been posted, bleeds of the rear of your inlet manifold and radiator back to the header tank are key. There is an adjustment on the cortina rack that can take up any play/slack in it - might be worth checking it first as I had this on my car.

Porsche's answer to this problem is to have small weights on each pad that counteract the noise made. Its the pads that create the noise as they vibrate against your disc. I have this problem also and it is down to the pad friction material - harder pads tend to make noise/squeel/vibrate.

I can only echo Howards comments here - I too have the Quaife LSD, if you plan any brisk driving on track it transforms the handling. I did drive the car without and it was a complete handful out of the corners or in the wet. I'm on 17" rims so much more track tyres available - I have the Toyo...
