How do I get to a GTd40 fuel sending units

I bought them direct from the states from a company called skysports - designed for light aircraft I believe. Here's a thread I found with a quick search, pics are similar to mine... Faye De Bretagne 2014

My rack is the standard Tornado unit but I have the MK3 front uprights which I think have a slightly shorter steering arm so I may have to give it a little more input. Faye's first section is quite a tight twisty section which may not come across on the video all that well.

    Tornado front wheel bearing origin??

Andy, I'm not sure I follow your logic here??? Having tried many things to "fix" the pad knock we all experienced we finally swapped the upright out and the pad knock has gone. I'm suggesting that the play you refer to a few posts back (that the MOT inspectors have commented on) is the problem...

    Tornado front wheel bearing origin??

Thinking about them yes I think they were fixed - 1 piston each side of the disc, its been a while since I got rid of them. One of the guys with this same problem did try a residual brake valve - sadly the problem is still there. I think its just the fact that any play is amplified considerably...

    Tornado front wheel bearing origin??

Thanks Andy but I tried that - as I said above after 100 miles or so the play will have returned. I imagine the Granada's were all like this. With a standard "Floating" Granada caliper this isn't an issue. However by fitting large discs and calipers bolted directly to the upright the pad knock...

    Tornado front wheel bearing origin??

Granada MK2 approx 1980 - the bearings are quite small and are under a fair bit of side loading on a 40 as they aren't centred inside the wheel/tyre, hence wearing out a bit quicker than on the original Granada. Also once they are properly installed and preload set there will be a fair bit of...

    Residual Valves Question

My setup is very similar to yours Brett - as previously said, check the resovoir is higher than your calipers pistons - No valves on my car.

    Tornado rear wheel bearings

They should be Granada mk2 or 3 - the 3 has the 2 lugs to mount the caliper whereas the mk2 just holds the bearings and bolts to the upright. They are pressed in a puller may get them if not....The last ones I removed I just used my mig welder to run a bead of weld around the bearing face...
