Adding the Clutch Pressure Switch to the Wiring

My engine harness has a starter relay in the power distribution box with two leads for the relay coil. One side is wired to ground through the clutch switch. The other will hook to the white lead coming from the rear power cell which I provides a 12 v feed to energize the vehicle starter...

    New canards

Love the way they integrate into the existing relief in front of the wheel opening. Very nice work. Cam, I'd be interested also for a group buy.

Adding the Clutch Pressure Switch to the Wiring

For my application, the engine harness has both a power and ground go to the start relay. I wired the ground to the clutch switch and the power to the Infinity harness (when I get it)

Wow. All of these interior innovations on the forum just as I am doing mine. I HAD a budget for this thing but it just went out the window! Love those switches!

    wire harness alternative

This one has me on a fence. I have been wiring cars for over 40 years but have always done discrete or modified oem type systems. My first wiring job was my brothers 56 Chevy when I was 13. Before I was a mechanic or fabricator or engineer I was wiring cars. My last was a modified oem in a...

    Mark's GT-R Build

I like using the side panel for something other than closure. I have been trying to figure out how to fit everything in without making the dash looking cluttered. Going for the minimalist look, you have unlocked more real estate! Back to the drawing board for me but thanks Mark!

The engineer in me agrees with you Cam. There is some other guy in there who questions everything and I figured taking off the minimum was best. Also leaves a little more for keeping things together when the springs unload.

Therapy session with the lathe tonight. Decided to invert the shocks but as Cam has shown in his blog, the adjusting nut which then gets inserted into the puck needs to be shortened to ensure the weight of the car doesn't ride on the inner lip. While the spacer that comes with the lift kit has...

    Mike's Build

Spent a brisk 41 degree morning in the garage - actually felt quite nice. After bending up my fan shroud, I got it partially installed and the fans mounted. It is made out of .060 AL sheet and with all of the bends is quite rigid. Will work the mounting on the bottom when I take the car apart...

    Mike's Build

Another productive day. Had a list for the weekend and almost got it done today. Started with cutting off those long threaded stubs on the rear hubs so the wheel caps will fit. Then finished up the lines for the front hydraulics, routing the lines, adding cushion clamps and putting on the...

Congratulations Cam. Sounds awesome. Can't wait until I hit that milestone! It must have been hard to stop driving. Looks like fun.

The center button is a horn. The only problem I had with the steering wheel was getting it to fit on the NR-G hub. The hub I was using was a 6 hole but the SL-C wheel is 5 - i bought a second 5 bolt hub for this wheel but there aren't many options. I have looked into doing powder coating...
