    Sandy's RCR40 Gulf Chassis #11

Hi Sandy, Very impressive work! I was wondering about the windshield install, it looks like it is a totally flush install without any trim that hangs out over the A-pillar etc, something I was hoping to do. I was trying to avoid using something like this: Creative Extruded - FlexiTrim...

    R&p For 016

Hi RamboLambo, Hypoid gears are still made on dedicated machinery like this old beast: GLEASON 608/609 Hypoid Gear Manufacturing Set A five plus axis CNC may be able to turn out any imaginable gearset, but even today, old school tools like this crank out product way faster and with much...

Hi Pete, That's "digg" this post as in digg.com, a (well, the best) social news site currently on the web in my opinion. Check it out. Do I use it? you bet! So do my kids. But I had nothing to do with it - Cool update Ron! Regards, Al

    Rcr-p How Sooooooooooon??????

My spare time is being split between a bathroom remodel and my RCR-40. I was going to go with a nice Kohler unit but if I can get a 32" x 72" (bath) tub in Gulf blue gel coat, RHD (right hand drain), I'm ready to switch to RCR! :)

    Educating Italy...

Hey Paolo, I'm with Bill, photos or a link would be cool! What I don't spend on the GT40 :), I spend at the local hobby shop on models, slot cars (I especially like Slot-it from Italy), rockets and RC cars/planes for myself and my three sons. Best Regards, Al

    Time for an Introduction

Great news Tim, I'm looking forward to seeing your delivery pictures (I'll admit that in addition to the car photos, I get quite a kick out of checking out folks garages and shops in the background and seeing what the next thing I "need" to complete my build is! I know when my car was...

    RCR #010 Build Progress

Thanks everyone for all the defrost related tips. While on that subject, has anyone purchased a reproduction defrost louver panel for their RCR dash and did it fit? I seem to remember MDA and some others offering this item in their parts list but wasn't sure it was a direct interchange...

Thanks Bill, Any pics of the evap install would be great! With respect to the heater, If I ever need to drive it on a cold day, I plan on counting on the big heater behind the firewall :-). I was however, thinking about defrost. I really don't want to deal with running water hoses into...

    RCR #010 Build Progress

Hi Bill, The wiring looks very pro. Since I see what looks like an AC receiver/dryer, I was wondering if you are using the vintage air setup that comes with the deluxe plus kit from Fran. I have not recieved mine yet and was wondering if you could post a pic of how you mounted the under dash...
