Tim, I am not 100% sure of all 21 that were there, but from the ones I do know the majority were GTD's, with a couple of Tornados, a Dax, my KVA plus 1 or 2 hybrids. It also just happened that the 4 of us who did convoy together up the M40 were 1 of each make. Max

Andy, It unfortunately comes down to time and cost. It's a good 6+ hours (minimum, 10 last year!) round journey for me, not to mention the £80+ fuel costs. So to attend both days would mean this again, or staying overnight in a hotel/motel somewhere (as wll as security issues) - more £££...

Good news John - the MOT and Matthew (I presume Julie has ok'd it too?) Mine also made it to the club meeting yesterday, along with 4 others. Hooray, '40 season is definitely upon us again. Yes, more pictures please.

We were sadly unable to make it in the end, but sounds like it was a great event, look forward to seeing the pictures. It went through the MOT on Saturday without any issues :-) So roll on Stoneleigh. Mind you, there's a club meeting on Tuesday and the weather's looking good...

I think the middle ridge should 'flow' down like the outside ones, possibly almost to a point before merging into the main body.

Plus the obvious thing that he started with $100 note rather than $1 note, therefore (including the error I noted in my previous post) the whole pile should be 1000 times larger.

I like the guy's idea of showing people what it 'really' looks like, but I think he made a mistake which is why it doesn't look as much as you'd expect. When he goes from $10,000 to $1,000,000 he says that it should be 100 packets of $10,000, but that only looks like 10 packets to me.

Indeed, Le Mans Classic 2006, travelling down on my own (with car playing up badly), unattended petrol pumps would not accept any of my cards - had to convince a French woman who only spoke a little English (& I only speak a little pigeon-French) to accept my Euro notes and pay on her card...
