DRB #46 now on the road

Darrell, she looks stunning ! That simple pic of the rear of the car, sporting a rego plate, tells a huge story to those that know ! How are your facial muscles going ? It might take weeks of therapy to relieve the pain caused by that grin !!! "On Ya" Mate ! Peter D.

    Conclusion and Resolution

Dean, there may be some people who could be classified as "Forum Police" - those who just need to stick their noses into a problem just to see their names in print & cause a stir, or competitors who can't resist the temptation to put the boot in. But there is another type of Forum member who...

    Breather Cap: One or Two?

A question along similar lines, if I may : For rego, I had to have the (single) breather connected to a carbon cannister (from a V8 Commodore), and have a purge valve to clean out the cannister occasionally (by connecting the purge outlet on the cannister to inlet manifold vacuum)...

    DRB Replica's from Australia

Larry, one of the things I liked about the DRB was that even the most basic kit comes with the spider attached to the chassis, the doors hung & operational, & both clips fitted. That is not to say you won't be doing some glass work - you will be, but how much depends on how fanatical you are...

Darrell, sorry but I couln't find that pic you sent. Iain, here's a scrappy old pic of a standard aly DRB louvre panel - available as a spare part from DRB. Mine is ceramic coated & has stood up to nearly 10,000km without any sign of being affected by the heat. It would be interesting to...

    "Albins" 930 & G50 gear sets unlimited

For what its worth, I have had some experience with Albins. About 3 years ago, I sent my G50 down to Albins for a new higher ratio 5th gear set to be fitted. Whilst they had the box apart, they were to check everything & replace the synchros. I got the box back about 3 weeks later...

Pete - thanks for the heads-up PM on these recent posts. Mick & Pete - this looks like a similar setup to the one I have in between each of the TB pairs on each side - see 1st pic. (The only DC&O standard moving parts I have are the spindles & butterflies). I am pretty sure that I have never...

    DRB Chassis #7

Hi Chris, We had to cut down the dizzy & go with coil-packs because the fronts of the fuel rails ended up in the middle of the dizzy cap ! The rails were run up the middle of the stacks (instead of outside as per standard) on advice from a mate who is an emissions expert. His opinion was...

Headed down to South Texas for my big deal...

Brian, do NOT let the money sit in an account for a year - if you do, the only interest will be from an "interested party" - eg. a wife, partner, ex-wife, kids who "need" to buy a house, etc..... As soon as the cheques clear, push Fran's button !!! Carpe Diem ! Kind Regards, Peter D.

    DRB Chassis #7

Hi Chris, Congratulations !! The car looks superb & I love the colour (no bias here !!). Did you end up using that old stock Mustang induction setup for rego ? Any plans to "work" the motor now that you have got rego ? Now comes the hard part - what to do with your spare time - finish off...
