we had lots of problems with the Roush alt & A/C compressor and bracket. It does not want to fit & needs the grinder ?Ouch :veryangry:

here are some more pics . we got the motor in today ,lot of the wiring done & hoses connected .

thanks Jack, we'll be working all day tomorrow so we hope to be connecting hoses and wiring by the end of the day. We'll being doing pictures of the whole install so check back.

A J we will be there all weekend. We have a 30 x 25 tent in the "mid way " grass area . We'll have the BDR GT & a couple of Cobra's also. Look forward to seeing you there . Rick

BDR GT # 153 was dropped off today around 12:30. The car is awesome & everthing is perfect from her long journey. Spent the day with the guys from Vintage . Jay, his dad Ed & I removed the rear clip while Brian was getting the Roush ready to drop in. Jay is going to post the pictures for me so...

I'm going to be with Vintage-motorsports and we will be in the mid way grass area . We are not in the shelby show but we have a 30 x 25 tent and we'll have the BDR GT 40 & a couple of Coabra's. Hope to see you there . The weather looks good so far . Rick

The car is due @ Vintage-Motorsports on Sat. so we hope there are no delays from the carrier .The BDR GT is a complete car, the brakes are bleed,most everything is done and the car is even detailed before it leaves South Africa. I'm sure we'll have to due some fine tunning but we will be working...

My BDR GT just got to Florida today & it is on it's way to Vintage-motorsports in CT already. The car will be @ the Lime Rock Vintage festival next week .The Roush 342 GT is on the engine hoist waiting . :thumbsup:

thanks , my Cobra is Tungsten Silver ( no stripes ) which is an Aston Martin color . The Gun Metal Gray is darker but it also has a nice metalic to it & the GT has to have stripes so it is a ghost silver color . The new interiors are finished very nice & have more room than would think.

Lolola,check out the new BDR GT it is a joint venture with Backdraft & CAV which is now run by Auto Futura. They took over after car # 100.The CAV was a great car but Auto Futura took it to the next level with many improvments .The BDR GT comes standard with wide hips ,17" wheels , stripes,A/C...
