Can anyone tell me what the SFI rating on a damper is all about? Is the damper required to be SFI rated to attend track days? I am accumulating parts for my engine and would like to avoid paying for something I don't need or having to shell out a second time for the right/rated part. Thanks...

In theory brilliant. In reality...... When It works, look the f&$k out! These engines power to weight are awesome. Just a matter of getting the engineering right, although I like the traditional dirty V8.
